Abstract

In this project work, the thermal performance of the heat pipes is analysed using two different working fluids such as De-ionized (DI) water and Copper (Cu)-water nanofluids. Cu-water nanofluids are prepared by ultrasonic mixing of Cu nanoparticles with DI water. In this regard, the thermophysical properties of working fluids are measured. These working fluids are then charged into the heat pipes and tested for the heat balance under various heat loads.
