Abstract

Ethics or moral philosophy is a branch of philosophy that involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts of right and wrong conduct. The main focus of the study was to see the ethical issues of the use of ICT in Higher Education. For this purpose, researchers constructed a questionnaire consisted of 20 items. A sample of 200 students (100 each from Research Scholars and MA final year students) was collected from different Departments of Social Science Faculty of Aligarh Muslim University through convenient sampling technique. A survey research technique was used for this study. Item wise analysis and percentage analysis were done by the investigators for interpretation results of obtained data. It was found by the investigators that the students of higher education possess a good understanding of ethics and ethical issues of ICT. They have the idea of ethics, plagiarism, moral values. The study also showed that they have a lack of awareness in practical life.
