Abstract

The principle aim of this paper is to dissect the nature of the Centre-State relations in India with special reference to Manipur, taking in the account of the socio-economic and political complications that hinders the approach to a more secure and unrivaled relationship. It further explains the political history of the state in brief, questioning the accountability of the Central Government and its role as a facilitator to satisfy the interests of the Manipuris.
