Hope is the sum of mental willpower and waypower that one simply has for reaching one’s goals (in the process of reaching one’s goals). The actualization in hopeful thinking whereas on the other hand, waypower reflects the mental plans or the way that guide hopeful thought known as the Willpower. These empirical findings entail valuable lessons for human resource managers and organizational behavior researchers who are interested in reducing burnouts that are likely to reduce an organization’s productivity and threaten its competitiveness in the long term.
