Abstract

Attrition rate is one of the biggest challenges for any business. It is evident that the companies are experiencing a high attrition rate and are not able to do well in the long run. In highly challenging and competitive business environment, companies need employees who can stay for longer duration and work towards company’s vision and mission, as a new employee takes a lot of time to settle and the company loses on the edge for that duration.  Indian IT sector; which is one of major contributors to the economy is also affected by the problem of attrition. In order to address the issue of attrition, companies adopt some retention strategies.
