In previous decades handloom segment is one among the prehistoric segment after agriculture in the economy. Handloom segment has challenging and competitive situation in the present days for the reason that automation, thread used, innovative methods of production and number of designs in the silk products and development of mill made segment. In this current situation handloom segment lost its market share and to increase the competition between handloom products and other mill made products. Particularly handloom industry share market value is decreasing in the domestic level as well as developing countries. In this study conducted only silk weavers in handloom industry on SCMP and weaving performance of silk weavers. The researcher selected quantitative methodology, sample size is 150 silk weavers and convenient sampling method was selected.
