Abstract
The aim of this paper is to explore the cyber crime awareness and its familiarity of various cyber-crimes terms among graduates with respect to their gender, locality, educational level, stream of study, computer facility, number of year’s familiarity with internet and number of year’s participation in cyber forums are discussed. In the present study researcher adopted descriptive survey method to collect the data for the cybercrime awareness among young graduates. The sample comprised 180 samples selected using stratified proportionate sampling ages range from 19-24 years. The finding of the study shows that there is no significant difference towards cybercrime awareness among graduates with respect to their gender, locality, computer facility and stream of study but significant difference exists with respect to their educational level, number of years familiar with Internet and number of year’s participation in cyber forums. Under graduates shows more familiarity on many cybercrime terms compared to post graduate students. Graduates are high risk of becoming cyber victim so proper awareness and training provision should be imparted among graduates about cybercrime.
