Abstract
The optimum age fixed for treating a person as ‘aged’ varies from country to country. In India, the attainment of the age 55 has been mostly accepted for the purpose of classified aged persons. The psychological and sociological ageing induce biological ageing as there can be psychological and social causes of bed health or disease. To study the health care utilization pattern and expenditure of the elderly people. Majority of the elderly people to spent their money on 1000-1500 rupees month. To studied respondents are affected in diabetics and blood pressure and most of the elder people treated in allopathy medicine among government and private hospitals. Thus, they concluded that the separate Human resources development plan for older persons must be prepared which wil given them an opportunity to table advantage of now educational and technological advancements and embark on a separate career after retirement.
