Present paper aims to examine the impact of firm performance measures on FII in Indian companies listed on BSE during the financial years April 01st, 2005 to March 31st, 2016. The findings provide sufficient evidence that firm performance variables for the BSE-listed companies played an important role for FIIs by influencing their investment decisions. Panel results verified that FIIs have been attracted more towards the big-sized companies, with high turnover, high ROE, sound liquidity position and high export rate. Further, FIIs perceive more book-to-market ratio, excessive leverage and dividend yield as risk enhancing factors, thereby causing them to withdraw their investments from such risky projects.
