Revamping the Traditional Workplaces – Inclusive Workplaces with Differently Abled Employees

Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to showcase the changes in the traditional workplaces with an outlook towards inclusive workplaces with Differently Abled Employees. Differently abled employees were looked down sympathetically by the entire world long back but now there is a tremendous change in the way society, organisations and individuals see them and in the attitude reflected on them.  Now they are referred as the talented individuals with high level of loyalty and committed towards work and workplaces. Moreover technology had played a great role in uplifting them from crippled state to self-reliable state. Assistive devices, mobile apps, universal designs, and disabled friendly infrastructure had all helped differently abled employees to break out their shell and exhibit their skills.
