Abstract
World during these days are more connected and dependent on each other than any other time of known history. This connection and interdependencies leads the sovereign countries to maintain the relationships for which diplomats are usually sent to all the countries of significance for the specific nation. But the question arises that when a diplomat of one nation is residing in other nation which law will be applied on the diplomat. Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961) is an answer to this question. The present paper is an attempt to analyses the question and to find whether the provisions made under the convention is sufficient.
