Abstract
Job satisfaction is essential to maintain the productivity and enthusiasm of the workforce. The following studyevaluated the various factors affecting Job Satisfaction among employees. A systematic review of literature was carried out by the researcher on the various factors found to have an impact on Job Satisfaction among employees. The aim of the study was to identify the differences in factors leading to job satisfaction among employees. The researcher has a firm belief that the identification of specific factors which lead to job satisfaction and dissatisfaction can help the organizations take steps to reduce discrepancies in job satisfaction levels. This may enable the organization to improve the job satisfaction levels and productivity among the employees.Factors pertaining to improving job satisfaction and reducing dissatisfaction were reviewed by the researcher.The researcher believes that with the help of these factors future policies and initiatives can be taken by the various organizations to improve their decision making and hopefully develop a positive and enthusiastic workforce.The researcher has also attempted certainsuggestions and recommendations to tackle the issues.
