Abstract
SCM, endeavors to make the correct thing available at the correct place at the correct time, along with obtaining profit maximum possible. It is the effectiveness and efficacy of the supply chain which lays influence on an organization’s overall performance. This effectiveness and efficacy depends on several factors which are included in the entire production process of goods and services and its management, like, suppliers from whom materials are bought; place and process of storing inventory, cost-effective and timely distribution of products and/or services, and method and time of making payments.
