Abstract
This research article attempts to trace the soft power of India from its ancient times to contemporary times. In doing so, it tries to understand the changes which soft power of India has gone through over the period of time. This article also discusses the various steps which the current Indian government under the leadership of PM NarendraModi has taken to enhance its soft power.
