Abstract
Right to information is utmost important for the progression of the society that rejects vagueness and values participation. A government which runs as ‘for the people’ should remain accountable and open for all purposes.The present study examines the awareness of RTI act among the students. The data was analysedwith the help of t-test and descriptive analysis. It was observed that mean scores of male students is higher than female studentsand it can be concluded that male students are more aware of Right to Information Act as compared to their female counterpart.However, no significant difference exists between the awareness of Right to Information Act among students on the basis of their marital status.
