Abstract

The present study finds out the Life skills and academic achievement of senior secondary students in Sikkim. Also, the study tends to examine the relationship between Life skills and academic achievement. Present study adopts a quantitative approach. Data was collected using standardized psychometric measurement. Whereas, quantitative analysis of the data was done by using Pearson-correlation,‘t’ test and ANOVA. Findings of the study suggested that majority of students had average Life skills. Academic achievement of students wasn’t up to standard as around 54 percent students scored below 60 percent. It was also found that there is a positive relationship between Life skills and academic achievement of the students.
