Abstract
The fundamental issue of the spoken language identification refers to the automatic process through which we determine or verify the identity of the language spoken in a speech sample. Human are born with the ability to discriminate between spoken languages as part of human intelligence. Here in this paper studies the various features of speech that are used for language identification. A comparative investigation on speech signal is made to identify various languages of both male and female using acoustic features, means the machine will identify what type of language a male or a female is saying.
