Abstract
Over the years there has been a steady rise in the migration of nurses from India to United Kingdom (UK) and such other advanced nations of the world. Of the nurses migrating abroad, majority belong to Kerala state in India. The paper makes a study of the savings and investments behavior of the nurses migrating from Kerala to UK, implications of such behavior, and makes suggestions for suitable policy initiatives that make such savings and investments beneficial for the economy of the home state.
