Abstract
Deep Learning is a powerful Machine Learning technique that includes multiple layers for representation of data and produces the prediction result. Deep Learning is inspired by structure and function of brain called artificial neural network. In late 1990, only shallow neural network was feasible because deep learning neural network was computationally expensive and complicated. From the last decade, deep leaning has been applied in the field of Computer Vision, Speech Recognition & information retrieval etc. Sentiment Analysis (SA) is one of the major applications of deep learning. In this chapter, we aim to provide the basics of deep learning and some overview about analysis of sentiments using deep learning neural network. From the last two decades, SA has been the interesting research area in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP). It is also known as opinion mining. It is the process to obtain the overall polarity of the emotion or sentiment.
