Abstract
Modelling and analysis of the delay parameter introduced by presence of toxic metal is done. It forces the dynamics of plant growth and nutrient concentration to lose stability and show complex behaviour via Hopf bifurcation. The structure of this dynamics is dividedin two compartments -root and shoot. The boundedness, positivity and equilibrium point has been calculated.Stability analysis is performed around equilibrium point.
