Abstract
Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is an efficient approach to model complex inter-dependency of numerous environmental factors. In many cases it has been proved to be more efficient and accurate than the conventional statistical models. Present literature review attempt to collate some notable research works that involved the development or use of various ANN algorithms to improve the atmospheric and air quality data retrieval process.
