Abstract
This paper examines the India’s Gems and Jewellery Exports during the period 1990-91 to 2016-17. It measures the growth, structure and concentration of India’s gems and jewellery exports. Their product concentration is measured with the help of Concentration ratio (CR), Hirschman- Herfindahl Index (HHI) and Comprehensive Measure of Concentration(CCI). It shows that the highest concentrated commodities are cut & polished diamonds, rough diamonds, gold jewellery, coloured gemstones and pearls.
