Abstract
Various schemes are being run by the government for rural development and employment in Chhattisgarh. Mainly Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Scheme, National Rural Livelihood Mission (Bihan) Community Investment Fund, Cyclical Fund, Bank Linkage Deendayal Upadhyaya Rural Skills Scheme, Roshni Program (Naxal Affected District Special Project) Rural Self Employment, Prime Minister Housing Scheme, Prime Minister Road Scheme, Chief Minister's Village Road and Development Scheme, Chief Minister's Plan. rom the point of view of convenience in the research paper, 5 schemes being run by the government for rural development have been studied. The main objective of the study is to remove rural unemployment and make information about the schemes run by the government to the rural people so that they can benefit from this scheme.
