Abstract
The research undertaken to design of low pressure and low temperature water tube boiler for used in rural farmer house and household. The efficiency of boiler was evaluated using different fuel materials such as woodchips of and straws. The straw fuel material is better for burning than other fuel material because it gives more efficiency (About 74 %) than other. Capacity of boiler also increases with decreasing the time that require for complete heating of given amount of water in litre. The efficiency of boiler is also depending upon number of coil windings. Efficiency of boiler increases with increasing the number of windings of coil because it provides more surface area for burning and give better result. The specific fuel consumption of boiler is 0.025kg/0c. As compare to electrical heater, cost of operation of boiler is minimum and a zero cost of operation for rural farmers because easy availability of wood and straws for burning without paying money.
