Abstract
South Asia has the world’s largest population with a large number of the world’s children living in the region. It is also said that the highest number of undernourished children. Girl children are horrible situation in the region , they are forced to marriage at their very tender age. SAARC apex body SAIEVAC made a report made a report on child marriage, reflecting realities and responses of child marriage. It also upholds reasons the persistent of child marriage in the South Asia. Legislative response to child marriage shows different countries of South Asia have their own policy in this regard.
