Abstract
It is truly said that words are more dangerous than the direct hurt. In a democratic country like India, where in the name of freedom of speech & expression, when people can not only criticize the government policy but can also make personal comments on individuals irrespective of his/ her constitutional positions and even have freedoms to say “Bharat tere tukde honge”, it becomes more dangerous. Though there are laws to restrict this but implementation in reality is zero. Even if it is tried, a large no. of groups stand together to oppose it.
Hate speech is one of the most burning issues of recent time and its connectivity with mob lynching has made it a most dangerous way of speech as it has caused loss of many lives. In this paper researchers have tried to explore the connectivity of Hate speeches with the Mob lynching and made suggestions for combating the same.
