Abstract
Sustainable development is an important issue at present time. Due to the imminent
threats of climate change, its importance has increased significantly. The world's governments
have agreed on an ambitious agenda to change our world by 2030, adopting Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs), whose aim is not to be left behind, and everyone gets the benefit of
development efforts. The agenda 2030 is unprecedented in scope and importance. The United
Nations defines sustainable development as "the development that fulfills the present needs of
future generations without compromising their ability to meet their needs".
