Abstract


The major reason for conducting this study is to find out the factors affecting the women employee to buy online. The English entrepreneur Michael Aldrich invented online shopping in 1979. Online shopping is a process of buying goods and services from merchants who sell on the internet. With the help of online shopping, the consumers can purchase clothing, shoes, books, computer hardware and so on. A self administered questionnaire, based on prior literature, was developed and a total of 660 women employee were selected by snow ball sampling.  The present study is an attempt to identify the preferred online shopping portals among women employee.
