Abstract
The main aim of this work is to find out the various combustion parameters, performance parameters and emissions levels of any biodiesel with minimum inputs such as density, calorific value, chemical formula, specific heat, kinematic viscosity to the program. From the results, it is found that the heat release and work done are reduced by about 4% for Jatropha, 6% for Mahua and 8% for Neem oil esters when compared to diesel. The peak pressure for vegetable oil esters are reduced by about 3%, 4% and 5% respectively for Jatropha, Mahua and Neem oil esters at an optimum engine condition when compared to diesel.
