Abstract
Small business and entrepreneurship is an important component of the market economy, which contributes to the economic development of the country and the qualitative growth of economic growth. Small business and entrepreneurship will help to solve key economic issues such as employment and competition development in the economy. One of the main socio-economic problems of today's development in Uzbekistan is the problem of unemployment. The development of small business and entrepreneurship in the country is crucial in employment. This article discusses the role of small business and entrepreneurship in the employment of the population in the country, as well as the features and challenges of its development.
