Abstract
The article deals with changes in social, political and economic life of our country. In this regard, the Russian language should be considered as a mandatory component of humanitarian training of specialists in a higher educational institution of technical profile. Training of specialists of high professional level should provide not only for the study of special technical sciences, but also for the development of a spiritually rich personality with creative potential and high professional culture.
