Abstract
In the present era Gujarat state is known for its industrial development but when we analyze its agricultural development and instability of its major crops with respect to area, production and yield in different periods i.e. Pre Green Revolution(P-1), Green Revolution(P-2) and Post Green Revolution(P-3) we came to know that instability in production of rice shows a little high value of coefficient of variation which reaches up to 35.92 in pre-green revolution period to 35.94 in green revolution period but on the other hand production instability of wheat is keep on increasing with a C.V value of 28.79(P-1), 36.68(P-2) and 44.25(P-3).
