Abstract
in this digital world, research interest is being increased on e-governance; existing research doesn't adequately address critical issues regarding the development, implementation, and integration of the e-governance projects. The delivering of e-services to the citizens at their door is the primary function of government. Looking at 'service' from the citizens' point of view, the Government of Telangana seeks to redefine citizen services through eSeva, using state-of-the-art technologies, "MeeSeva" in Telugu means, ‘At your service,' i.e., service to citizens. It is a good governance initiative that incorporates the vision of National eGov Plan "Public Services Closer to Home" and facilitates single entry portal for an entire range of G2C& G2B services. And other services like TSOnline service portal, E-procurement, CFST- Transport Department Services, Society for Telangana State Network (SoFTNET), e-Suvidha – Complete Application for Municipalities etc.. The objective of this paper is to address the E-Governance Initiatives in Telangana with Problems and Challenges based on the existing literature review the article provides an analysis of existing empirical findings and theoretical perspectives related to e-governance initiatives in Telangana state, India.
