Abstract
Data plays a significant part in our everyday lives in the digital era. It is visible in numerous ways. The advent of the digital era has revolutionised our lives, introducing novel methods of communication, organisation, and information retrieval. In addition, it has given rise to a surge in cyber crimes, which are rapidly escalating daily. There is a growing perception that the internet is inherently hazardous. Which necessitates greater examination, oversight, and regulation. Despite the implementation of different safeguards, cyber security remains a significant issue for many individuals. Safeguarding data has emerged as the foremost obstacle in contemporary culture when internet accessibility is widespread. This paper will examine the reasons why this particular approach poses a danger to both the protection of human rights and the security of the digital realm. Ultimately, this will facilitate comprehension of the prevailing methods by which threats in the digital realm are being conceptualised. The potential issues with this framing and strategies for engaging in these discussions. The objective of this study is to determine effective methods of engaging with the government and citizens to safeguard and enhance these rights. Additionally, it emphasises contemporary methodologies and ethical considerations in revolutionising the field of cyber security.
