Abstract

Employees who have skill is the key asset for organization. The attempt of employee to achieve formal role and responsibility proves that employees possess organizational citizenship behavior. By the support given by organization related to the work and welfare of the employees, it will make the employee feel that organization gives them a big attention by which perceived organizational support is created. Hence, organizational justice is needed to be able to improve individual performance, creating civic attitude, good mental health, low stress level and various good individual attitudes. The present study is aimed at testing the effect of perceived organizational support on employee’s organizational citizenship behavior; effect of organizational justice on employee’s organizational citizenship behavior; and the effect of perceived organizational support and organizational justice on employee’s organizational citizenship behavior. The respondents involved in this study was private employees working in around Jakarta and having position as staff. This study used quantitative method through accidental sampling. The number of samples involved was 129 private employees. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression technique, revealing that there is an effect of perceived organizational support and organizational justice variable on employee’s organizational citizenship behavior with F coefficient value of 83.752; significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05); and effective contribution (R Square) of 57.1%.
