Poetic Function Of Folk Motives Used In The Prose (With An Example From The Storytelling Genre)

Abstract

The article explores the poetic functions of folklore in the prose, their literary role in the composition and plot of the literary work. Folklore used in the genre of Uzbek literature in the genre of narrative, in which the folklore motives of the author Isajon Sultan are studied as the main subjects. There are places in the literary story where the traditions, customs, rituals, proverbs, myths, legends are used, and their poetic functions are clarified.
